Henrietta looks tremendously Bourbon in this mythological portrait; in fact she resembles her troublemaking cousin La Grande Mademoiselle rather worryingly…………….are you sure it is not Anne Marie Louise?
Well, Minette WAS half Bourbon so it’s hardly surprising. I always think she and Charles II look very similar to their Bourbon cousins. :)
Her niece had this listed in the inventory as Minette and to me it definitely looks exactly like other Nocret portraits of her so I think I’m happy with the Royal Collection attribution. :)
